월드쉐어, 한파로 몸살 앓는 시리아 난민 지역에 구호물품 전달

월드쉐어가 폭설로 고통받고 있는 시리아 난민들을 위해 등유와 식량, 생필품 등을 지원했다.
올 초 레바논과 시리아, 중동지역에 몰아닥친 한파, 폭설, 폭풍우로 인해 시리아 난민 피해가 잇따르자, 월드쉐어는 긴급구호단을 파견했다.
레바논 시리아 난민촌은 각 가구가 천막에서 생활하고 있어 한파와 폭풍 ‘후다’로 일부 가구가 붕괴되었으며, 여러 명이 다치고 숨지는 등 인명 피해가 속출했다. 월드쉐어 긴급구호단은 레바논 분쟁지역인 안자르 지역으로 파견돼 1월 12일~17일, 6일간 구호 활동을 펼쳤다.
구호단은 우선 1월 12일부터 15일까지 사전 조사를 진행했다. 현지 조사를 통해 난민들이 가장 필요로 하는 물품이 등유임을 확인하고 등유와 생필품 등을 준비했다. 시리아 난민들은 폭설과 폭풍우로 집이 무너진 데다 한파로 고통받고 있는 상황이었기 때문에 난방 해결이 최우선으로 해결되어야 하는 과제였다.
월드쉐어는 난민 46가구(텐트)가 사용할 수 있는 등유와 생필품을 준비해 지급했다. 생필품 박스는 쌀, 콩, 국수, 라면, 휴지, 생리대, 기저귀 등 19가지 용품으로 구성했다. 구호물품 전달은 16일~17일 양 일간 진행됐으며, 신분증을 확인하고 난민들에게 구호 물품을 전달했다. 월드쉐어는 이외에도 의료지원이 필요한 난민들을 조사하여 추후 지원할 수 있는 방안을 계획 중이다.

Worldshare provides lamp oils, foods and daily necessities to the Syrian refugees suffering from heavy snow.
Earlier this year, Syrian refugees increased due to cold and heavy snow in Lebanon, Syria and the Middle East. Worldshare has dispatched an emergency relief group.
Lebanon and Syria refugees are living under canvas. Some of the canvases get damaged caused by heavy snow and storm. And also many people get injured and died. Worldshare emergency relief group dispatched to Anjar in Lebanon for relief activity where is a trouble region on January 12th until 17th for 6days.
Relief group had preparatory research on January 12th until 15th. They found what most refugees are needed and prepared for that. Syrian refugees' house were damaged caused by heavy snow and storm, so the heating problem was to be solved first.
Worldshare provide the lamp oils and daily necessities for each 46families(canvas). The daily necessity box consists of 19 goods like rice, bean, noodle, ramen, tissue, napkin, diaper and etc.
Worldshare deliver it to Syrian refugees on 16th and 17th for two days, with checking their personal ID. In addition to, Worldshare makes a plan about medical treatment service for those who need it among the refugees.
